Most roof repairs fail because somebody fixed the wrong thing. Water gets in at a flashing detail, runs sideways down a rafter, and shows up on your ceiling eight feet away. If your roofer patches the spot directly above the stain, you get a patched roof and the same leak. We chase it back to the source.

What we actually repair

Flashing failures

The number one source of leaks, by a wide margin. Step flashing along a wall, valley metal, pipe boots that dried out and cracked, chimney flashing that was caulked instead of counter-flashed. If your roof is leaking and the shingles look fine, it is almost always this.

Storm and hail damage

Wind lifts and creases shingles even when they land back down looking fine. Hail bruises the mat under the granules. Both shorten the roof's life without looking like anything from the driveway. We document it properly for your insurance claim.

Missing or damaged shingles

Straightforward to replace, and worth doing fast. An exposed section of underlayment is a countdown, not a roof.

Ice dam damage

Ohio winters build ice at the eaves, back water up under the shingles, and push it into the house. The repair is usually part flashing, part ice and water shield, and part attic ventilation, because a warm attic is what built the dam.

How fast can you get out here?

Is it worth repairing or should I replace?

Depends on the roof. A sound roof with a bad flashing detail is a repair, full stop. A roof that is failing in five places is telling you something. We will give you the honest read, including when the answer is 'this is a repair, do not let anyone sell you a roof.'

Do you handle insurance claims?

Yes. We document the damage the way adjusters need it and work the claim with you. We will also tell you when we do not think you have a claim worth filing.

Can you find a leak if it is not raining?

Usually. Water leaves a trail, and the failure points are predictable once you know where to look. In stubborn cases we will run water on the roof to reproduce it rather than guess.

Do you charge for the inspection?
